We accompany you throughout the lifecycle of a creative project to set it up for success, whatever that means to you

We’ll accompany you through your project’s key steps and milestones, from concept development to evaluation and impact. 

This offering comprises four robust phases that blend coaching, workshops, and practicum. The idea is to give you tools, actionable insights, and resources to work on specific challenges and gain confidence as your project evolves.

You can expect to…

  • Gain clarity on your project’s concept, values, and strategy
  • Build your value proposition and theory of change
  • Define what success means to you and the communities and audiences you serve
  • Clarify communications strategies and business plan
  • Get a set of tools, supporting materials, and resources to support you on your journey

Who is this mentorship for?

Latine and/or first-generation immigrant creative individuals, collectives, or projects who:

  • Would like a mentor, advisor, or facilitator to support the concept development and business planning of a new or existing project.
  • Already have a project idea in mind and want support to further develop it and set up strong foundations around impact, audiences, communications, revenue strategies, and evaluation
  • Have a trajectory of socially-engaged work through a justice-driven lens and in direct relationship with audiences or community members.
  • Are interested in exploring bottom-up approaches regarding community-engagement and evaluation.

Latine and/or first-gen immigrant-owned/led organizations who are exploring how to increase earned revenue through programming are also encouraged to considering this mentorship.

How does it work?

Phase 1

  • Clarify concept, beneficiaries, and values
  • Literature and human-centered research
  • Ecosystem mapping

Phase 2

  • Define success and envision impact
  • Develop a theory of change
  • Create a values-aligned business map to lay out key areas of the project

Phase 3

  • Strategy mapping
  • Grounding of key messages and communications
  • Proposal template

Phase 4

  • After-engagement plan to ensure monitoring of the project and continuum of care
